Area Served
If you live in the Kansas City Metro area, we would love to meet and work alongside you and be a part of your birth team. If you are outside of this area, get a hold of us! We might still be able to support you or help you find someone else who can. We know a lot of amazing Catholic Doulas around the Metro area.
2 for 1
Starting at $1250
plus optional Childbirth education and extra post-partum support.
fdEsther and I work together giving you two doulas for the price of one. When you are in your due month (two weeks before your EDD and two weeks after), we are both on call to answer any of your questions or concerns, we can have a special meeting to go over anything the doctor may be throwing at you, or we are here just to encourage you. We can also help you add us to your birth registry. How many newborn socks and onesies does one fast-growing baby need? While there are a plethora of cute things to buy, the support you receive before and a long time after the baby comes is worth more than the resale price of little used baby items.
What our support entails
We like to meet with our birth doula clients who are giving birth in the hospital four times during pregnancy. See below for the breakdown.
Again, our “two-for-one” means that either Esther or I will be at your birth, or we will take 8 - 10 hour shifts in case you have a really long labor. We want to give you the benefit of a rested doula who can come in and bring some fresh air to your labor.
A breakdown of how we will support you:a
Each visit we will cover in detail the 4 pillars for Avoiding a C-section. We walk with you and your partner through nutrition, movement, labor prep and comfort measures. Each one last about 90 minutes. Preparing for birth matters. We have found the better equipped you are the healthier your labor, birth and baby will be. If you have given birth before or have taken a really good Childbirth Education course we can work out an alternative schedule with you.
Our first visit is around 20 weeks
Our second visit at 25 weeks
The third visit at 30 weeks
Fourth visit at 35 weeks
Postpartum visit (within 1 week of birth) During this visit, we can discuss your birth, baby care, and breastfeeding and evaluate how you are doing.
Optional 2nd postpartum visit to reassess how you and baby are doing. Sometimes it’s hard to know how you're doing that first week of life with baby and second visit is nice to have for those questions and concerns. We are here for YOU!!
Not everyone is going to need four prenatal visits. If you have given birth before or have taken a really good Childbirth Education Course, we will work out an alternative schedule with you.
**We are available for text or call support for your birth month (two weeks prior to your due date and up until two weeks after).
**Once you are in labor, we remain with you and your birth partner throughout delivery and up to 2 hours postpartum.
We also offer a sliding scale for a limited amount of families. If you would like to inquire about availability and pricing contact us through the

If you have given birth with us before, are a military family, or first responder let us know.
